Humble Moms Book Review

Author and Title: Humble Moms by Kristen Wetherell
Length: 174 Pages
Overview: This book is good, y'all! It is first and foremost a book about Christ all that he has done for us. Each chapter covers one thing that Christ does for us and then explains how it sustains the work of motherhood. Christ humbled himself for us, even to the point of death. By his work in our lives, we can humble ourselves to love and serve our children well.
There is a chapter in this book about how Christ prays for us that was really impactful to me. This is something that Christ does for us that I often forget about. It's such a comforting and profound truth that I needed to be reminded of.
Read this book if: your mama heart is weary. This book will encourage and refresh your soul.
Favorite Quote: "As you wash unlovely, dirty little feet with your hands, may your heart cling to his love that always supplies what you lack. When you stoop, may you do so as a picture of his high, wide, long, and deep love for you. May the song of your motherhood be service for him, as you love him with your hands from the worship flowing from your heart. And in that, may you love your kids in the truest way, to the very end, as a reflection of his inexhaustible love for you."
